Kate Middleton?s Most Recent Hat Looks a Bit Like a Satellite Dish

She's actually picking up a radio station right now.

After debuting a bright blue sci-fi-style hat over the weekend, Kate Middleton wore another fascinating Philip Treacy creation to the annual Order of the Garter service at St. George's Chapel in London yesterday. Resembling a satellite crossed with a sieve, the hat was decorated with a big ribbon and two curled feathers, all in gray. Perhaps surprisingly, it was one of the most understated hats on display, some of which were really quite terrifying. Kate paired the gray piece with a gray knee-length dress and frock coat by Katherine Hooker and gray suede Rupert Sanderson heels. It seems she's getting the clothing part of her newly royal wardrobe down just right, but perhaps the Duchess could pump up the outlandish accessories for big occasions like this?

As always, see the look in full in our exhaustive Kate Middleton Look Book.
